In September 2016 we celebrated the first anniversary of 'Remember that Song' and were privileged to be visited by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Cynthia Thompson, and Councillor Rob Hannaford who helped us mark this special occasion, complete with a birthday cake and a rousing rendition of 'Happy Birthday'. The Lord Mayor, a talented pianist, delighted members of the group by volunteering to play the keyboard for us. Pictured in the photograph with the Lord Mayor and Councillor Hannaford are, on the right, Ann Head (Chairman of Remember that Song) and on the left is Jean Usher (Musical Director).

At our final session before Christmas we celebrated with our Christmas party and we are looking forward to musical activities based on a big variety of themes - from pantomimes to the music of the 1960s and we'll be having some special musical visitors to one of our sessions: Exeter's own Guildhall Strummers Ukelele Group.
