Our top fundraisers in 2019 are sisters Lisa Mills and Kathy Redmond, whose Mother, Christine, had Alzheimer's. Christine, who lived in St Thomas all her life, passed away seven years ago and each year her daughters, Lisa and Kathy, organise a summer cream tea in her memory. Lisa and Kathy have very generously donated to Remember that Song a total of £863 from the last two events - so a HUGE THANK YOU to them, from all of us!

Summer cream tea raises funds for RtS

Our organisation depends entirely on voluntary donations and sponsorship. We are extremely grateful to those organisations and individuals who help us in this way. Particular thanks go to the Alzheimer’s Society who helped us in the initial stages of hiring the venue for our activities; corporate sponsors STORMPRESS of Exeter (http://www.stormpress.co.uk), who sponsored our first information leaflets and Livery Dole for their generous donation. We are very grateful to Delphine Jones (Topics - The Creative Partnership Ltd) for giving her time and skill to produce the final version of the logo you will see on each of the pages of this website, as well as our most recent publicity materials.

Ray & Ann Mallett set our fundraising efforts going with a magnificent garden party at their home in Dunchideock back in 2016. We have had kind and generous support from musical organisations: the Exeter Choral Society held a retiring collection for us at their concert in April 2016, whilst in December 2016 the Dunsford Singers generously donated over £500 - proceeds from their 'Sing Noel' concerts. We are also very fortunate to receive generous individual donations and bequests in memory of loved ones.

Thank you to everyone!

We greatly appreciate professional support from Steven Linney (who supports the treasurer with the financial administration of the organisation) and John Singleton (without whom you would not be reading this website). We need to continue with our fundraising and sponsorship efforts – if you are interested in supporting our work, please contact our treasurer, Daphne West (This email address is being protected from spambots. Recently we received a very generous donation of £257.80 from Hays Travel (St Thomas, Exeter).
